I had forgotten about writing this paper until recently,but re-reading it does recharge my interest in its subject matter. We live in a society where, for the first time in ages,the generation of our youth will not better their standard of living, where pensioners will be better off than those working.Its a topsy turvy world,upside down and out of the natural order, reflecting those TV dramas mentioned here.I wonder where True Detective will take that concept, if at all. It will be interesting to follow their developments.
